The American pop singer Lady Gaga decked out in fishnet stockings and underwear in the 30-degree temperature -- stopped by Rivington Deli on the Lower East Side while filming an HBO special about her Monster Ball Tour.
The manager of Rivington Deli Saiful Islam said Gaga's visit was relatively quiet, and the police did not show up at any point during the morning. "Everything went smoothly," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "Of course some people came around the block to try to take pictures, but besides that nothing happened." He added that Gaga's visit was not spontaneous, as previously reported, because "they asked my permission to take shots ... of her buying coffee from me for the show."
The pop singer is scheduled to perform the first of two nights at Madison Square Garden on Monday as part of her tour, which also will be filmed for the HBO special, titled Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square
