It has reported by Deadline that Mia Wasikowska is negotiating to star in Stoker, written by Wentworth Miller ("Prison Break") and to be directed by Chan-wook Park (Oldboy, Thirst)

Carey Mulligan has been included to role, and Jodie Foster was going to star as well, but both are no longer involved, adds the site.

This movie "Stoker" tells of an eccentric teenager whose enigmatic and estranged uncle returns to the family after the death of the girl's father.

Miller also previously wrote Uncle Charlie, "a prequel that explores another chapter in the history of a family with a knack for burying secrets as well as bodies."

Ridley and Tony Scott will produce the film with Michael Costigan.

Wasikowska's credits include Alice in Wonderland, The Kids Are All Right and the upcoming Jane Eyre.
